The EU has decided
to introduce two new regulations which affect our hardware components:
-
WEEE ("Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment")
and
-
RoHS ("Restriction on Hazardous Substances").
Both regulations have been created to protect
environment and to conserve resources. For more information we refer our
customers to Wikipedia (WEEE,
RoHS)!
Since we are not a registered hardware
manufacturer in the sense of the German WEEE & RoHS law, on this page
information about the WEEE / RoHS qualification of our hardware products
(found on the individual data sheet pages) are given.
