The ID Device SDK 1.9 from Siemens enables
an experienced programmer to add fingerprint authentication to his application
software within several days. Especially the optionally available ActiveX

License Model
Our license model for
the SDK 1.9 and its accessory components is simple and attractive for
-
integrators who want
to equip a large number of workstations with fingerprint authentication
within their company,
-
software manufacturers
who want to enhance their software products with fingerprint authentication,
or
-
equipment manufacturers
who want to integrate fingerprint hardware and PC based fingerprint software
into their systems
The SDK license price
is independent on the number of software/hardware distributions or equipped
workplaces. It is only bound to one application. For example, if you integrate
the SDK into your company's PC login, this is one application. If you decide
to develop a physical room access, this is another application which needs
a second SDK license. If you need a sensor or sensor device which is not
supported by the base SDK, we offer to integrate this hardware into the
SDK 1.9 for a one-time fee which obeys the same rules as the base SDK.
All you have to do
is to sign an NDA and an Application Agreement. The NDA protects the programming
interface and keeps its documentation secret. In the Application Agreement
your application is defined to distinguish it from other applications.
University
rebates on request.
