Logon+ protects confidential data and programs and authenticates authorized
PC users. Your PC is reliably safeguarded against unauthorized usage. The
comfortable authentication is carried out with the aid of smart cards and/or
fingerprint. Since the biometric traits cannot easily be transferred from
one user to another, TrustedDesk Logon+ offers a significantly improved
personalization over conventional methods. |

operating system logon, the connection of network drives, and enabling/disabling
of an operating system session is also done automatically. TrustedDesk
Logon+ is integrable into networked Windows® environments and mixed
configurations as well as into stand-alone systems. An easy installation
and a standardized user interface on all Windows® systems are a main
characteristic of this extremely beneficial tool. |
| TrustedDesk
Logon+ includes tools for single sign-on and file encryption. It enables
centralized user administration in domains. An Enterprise version is available
which additionally supports Active Directory from Mircosoft. |
| For
highest data protection requirements the smartcard can be used to securely
store all user data including biometric data. Without smartcard multiple
independent encryption is provided for the biometric data. |

| Authentication
with smart card and biometrics |
| TrustedDesk
Logon+ stores the fingerprint of the corresponding user together with the
Windows® password on a smart card. Also possible is a logon only with
smart card & Windows® password, i.e., without fingerprint. The
PC will run only if the smart card is inserted; on removal the PC access
is automatically disabled. Operating modes without smartcard are provided.
Enables a high mobility by adding the fingerprint and further data to the
personal user profile on the smart card or to roaming profiles under Windows®. |

an independent tool, all user identifiers, fingerprints, and smart cards
are administrated locally or centrally. |

Kerberos logon |
| On
Windows® 2000 systems and higher, the Kerberos smart card logon is
incorporated. This way, available Kerberos logon certificates on smart
card are recognized via CSP (Cryptographic Service Provider). If both Kerberos
and TrustedDesk Logon+ logon options are available on card, TrustedDesk
Logon+ asks the user to select one of them. |
