authentication is carried out with the aid of smart cards and/or fingerprint.
Since the biometric traits cannot easily be transferred from one user to
another, TrustedDesk Logon+ offers a significantly improved personalization
over conventional methods. |
| The operating system logon,
the connection of network drives, and enabling/disabling of an operating
system session is also done automatically. TrustedDesk Logon+ is integrable
into networked Windows® environments and mixed configurations as well
as into stand-alone systems. An easy installation and a standardized user
interface on all Windows® systems are a main characteristic of this
extremely beneficial tool. |

tools for single sign-on and file encryption. It is available as full version
which enables centralized user administration in domains (TrustedDesk Logon+
Enterprise) and as local version without central user administration (TrustedDesk

with smart card and biometrics |
| TrustedDesk Logon+ stores
the fingerprint of the corresponding user together with the Windows®
password on a smart card. Also possible is a logon only with smart card
& Windows® password, i.e., without fingerprint. The PC will run
only if the smart card is inserted; on removal the PC access is automatically
disabled. Operating modes without smartcard are provided. Enables a high
mobility by adding the fingerprint and further data to the personal user
profile on the smart card or to roaming profiles under Windows®. |

| On Windows® 2000 systems
and higher, the Kerberos smart card logon is incorporated. This way, available
Kerberos logon certificates on smart card are recognized via CSP (Cryptographic
Service Provider). If both Kerberos and TrustedDesk Logon+ logon options
are available on card, TrustedDesk Logon+ asks the user to select one of
them. |
