BioIDENTICA
SDKs
(Software Development Kits) are available as
-
Low-Level
SDKs, as
-
Wrapper
for Low-Level SDKs, as
-
High-Level
SDKs, and as
-
Extensions
for Low- and High-Level SDKs.

| BioIDENTICA
SDKs provide different fingerprint APIs (Application Programming Interfaces)
to customize the integration of fingerprint recognition according to the
special requirements of the application developer. |
|
| Low-Level
SDKs provide the widest range of functions
and the greatest design flexibility and this require the direct control
of a C DLL (Dynamic Link Library) by the application program. This is most
effectively possible by using the programming languages C/C++. Experienced
developers only need a few days
to integrate essential biometric authentication functions into their application. |

|
| Wrapper
for Low-Level SDKs greatly simplify
the integration of fingerprint recognition when using miscellaneous object
oriented programming languages such as Java or .NET languages. Functionality
and flexibility are largely retained. The integration effort is comparable
to the Low-Level SDKs. |
|
|
|
|
| High-Level
SDKs focus on the principal biometric
functions by providing simple-to-use intermediate applications in the form
of executable files. These executables files are a link between the DLL
of the underlying Low-Level SDK and the application of the integrator.
This allows an easy integration not only by nearly arbitrary programming
languages, but also by script languages right up to manual control using
the command line interface. Using High-Level SDKs, fingerprint can be integrated
into many applications within a few hours. |

| Extensions
for Low- and High-Level SDKs increase
the functionality of most BioIDENTICA SDKs, for example by special
sensors or specific functions. The extensions can be smoothly added at
all steps of development and often even after finished integration. |

Bromba offers
Reference Applications,
which are suitable as test and demonstration programs for sensor devices
and the BioIDENTICA technology. |
