IMPORTANT:
Please backup all your important PC data before installing the ID Device-Logon
software!

Place the accompanying CD
in your CD drive. The CD starts automatically. Installation begins. |

If the CD does not start automatically,
double-click the CD drive in Windows Explorer and then the Setup.exe
file. Installation begins. |

Follow the installation instructions
on the screen. The software is installed. |

|
Connect the sensor device
to the PC. The operating system detects the device. The message "New hardware
component found" is displayed on the screen. The Hardware Assistant program
is started. |

Install the driver for the
Eikon sensor or Cherry FingerTIP ID Board with swipe sensor from the accompanying
CD. |

|
Remove the CD from the drive
and restart the PC. The driver for the swipe sensor device is installed.
After restarting, log on with your password and enrol your finger using
the User Manager (Start / Programs / ID Device / User Manager). More details
are found in the ID Device documentation. |

| This software has
originally been developed for the Siemens ID Mouse with flat fingerprint
sensor. If you are prompted to touch the sensor or to place your finger
on the sensor, swipe your finger instead. Eikon sensors start blinking
when ready to swipe. |
