Known Bugs of ID Device Login and Screensaver
Software Version 5
| The error code
721103 is displayed when trying to login or to enroll |
This error appears very rarely and is caused
by a corrupted ~ArchProp.arp file.
Workaround: Simply search for the
file ~ArchProp.arp and delete it! Re-enrollment is not necessary! If you
have set the login mode to "fingerprint only" so that the password option
does not work, start the PC in safe mode and use the password for the standard
Windows login before deleting ~ArchProp.arp.
| The window "Invalid
Fingerprint " appears during identification |
This error is displayed when the right
little finger is enrolled.
Workaround: Replace the right little
finger by one of the other nine fingers when using identification mode.
| After update
to version 5.0 the driver does not recognize the ID Mouse under XP |
The newest driver has not been installed
correctly.
Solution: Search for the file usbbulk.sys
on your PC (should be found in the hidden directory C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers).
Right click with your mouse on this file and look for properties - version.
The version must be 6.0.0.0 and the value under "Description" must be 0003.
If this value is still 0001, the old driver, which is not XP compliant,
is still active. To solve the problem, disconnect your ID Mouse, delete
usbbulk.sys
and reinstall the newest USB driver from software version 5.0.
