FlexIMI provides biometric verification
of users over the network using existing directory services; e.g., Active
Directory Services (ADS), Novell eDirectory, Lightweight Directory Access
Protocol (LDAP) and network management tools for enrollment and template
storage.
With the growing maturity of biometric
technology, biometric solutions from Flexagonal use unique physical characteristics
of a person to ensure positive identification. With a simple touch, our
fingerprint technology links security directly with people.
FlexIMI removes the need for any additional
authentication servers and links directly into an already operational network
with little or no disturbance to the network infrastructure.
Cross-matching is one of the biometric
features of FlexIMI. This will allow you to enroll a fingerprint on e.g.
an Authentec fingerprint scanner - and later on, you can verify that finger
on e.g. a UPEK fingerprint scanner.
Two editions are available: The low-cost
Personal Edition and the professional Enterprise Edition. Both editions
support logon with smartcard.

Single login allows you to simply logon

You can now monitor workstation idle times.
Time spans can be recorded that relate to e.g. screensaver, logging off,
etc. These records can be exported to any ODBC data source (including text

There are currently two editions of FlexIMI:
Personal Edition
The Personal Edition is used for a single
computer - all users that are set up for a computer can take advantage
of the easy and secure logon process.
Enterprise Edition
The Enterprise Edition combines the local
and remote access of computers by integrating the enhanced logon procedures
with standard directory services using the existing networking infrastructure
and management tools.
