BioIDENTICA SDK now available
für touchless fingerprint sensors
Touchless fingerprint sensors,
i.e., sensors with an active area that does not touch the finger, feature
a remarkable robustness against contamination and do not require software
measures against latent print attacks. The latest version 2.1.3 of BioIDENTICA
SDK now supports the touchless sensor BiRD 3 from TST Biometrics. This
sensor is especially suited to multiuser applications such as physical
access control. ->BioIDENTICA®

New image capture SDK BioIDENTICA®
icSDK unifies numerous fingerprint sensor APIs
BioIDENTICA icSDK is
a novel software development kit for the integration of the most common
fingerprint sensors and scanners into applications which need a raw image
with minimal preprocessing. Such applications could be software for testing
fingerprint sensors, for acquiring raw images to be stored in identity
cards for the greatest possible interoperability, and for using fingerprint
sensors in general measurement tasks. Even developers of fingerprint algorithms
benefit from BioIDENTICA icSDK which is regularly updated for new
sensors and new drivers. ->More |

Bromba launches new BioIDENTICA®
SDK extension for fast identification
With the new extension BioIDENTICA®
FID Bromba's BioIDENTICA® fingerprint engine will be
able to support real-time identification with more than 100 000 fingerprint
references and delivering a unique result. Achieved is this performance
by combining ultra-fast minutiae comparison with extremely low-error-rate
correlation matching. This makes the technology feasible for large scale
payment systems and other applications where fingerprint takes over the
role of an identifier and verification is done by additional measures.
The result is a perfect combination of high security with convenience in
applications where total cost reduction is essential. ->BioIDENTICA®
